How we work

Four phases.
Zero surprises.

Predictable timelines and weekly demos are how good work actually ships. Here's exactly what to expect, week by week.

A process built around not surprising you.

Most agency timelines slip because the agency is the only one who knows what's happening. Ours doesn't — you see staging every Friday, and you know exactly which phase we're in.

01Discovery
Discovery & strategy
1–2 weeks Your time: ~6 hours

We dig into your business, audience, competitors, and constraints. By the end, we've aligned on a single brief that tells us what success looks like.

  • Stakeholder workshops2–3 sessions with your team to understand goals, audiences, and what's already been tried.
  • Competitive & landscape auditWhere you sit in the market, what's working in adjacent industries, what to deliberately not do.
  • Technical assessmentIf you have an existing stack, we audit it. Performance, accessibility, SEO baseline, technical debt.
  • Brief & SoWOne document. Goals, scope, deliverables, timeline, and what's explicitly out of scope.
02Design
Design & prototyping
2–4 weeks Your time: ~4 hours / week

High-fidelity Figma designs and clickable prototypes. You see real screens in week two, not a moodboard four months in.

  • Wireframes (week 1)Layout, hierarchy, content structure. Quick to produce and easy to revise.
  • Visual direction (week 2)Two distinct directions explored. We pick one together and refine.
  • Full screens & system (week 3–4)Every screen designed. Component library and design tokens for handoff.
  • Interactive prototypeFigma or Framer. Click through real flows before code starts.
03Build
Engineering & build
4–10 weeks Your time: 1 hour Saturday review

We build in 1-week sprints, deploy to staging continuously, and demo every Saturday. You always know where things stand.

  • Continuous stagingEvery commit deploys to staging within minutes. Bookmark the URL on day one.
  • Saturday demos30-minute walk-through of what we shipped that week. Decisions made, blockers raised.
  • Real engineering practicesPull requests, code review, automated tests, linting. We don't cut corners on internal quality.
  • QA & UATFinal two weeks: cross-browser, cross-device, accessibility audit. Then your team validates.
04Launch
Launch & iterate
30 days included Optional retainer after

We don't disappear at launch. Performance monitoring, analytics, and a 30-day refinement window come standard — because the post-launch data always reveals things we didn't predict.

  • Launch checklistDNS, SSL, redirects, analytics, search console, social meta. Nothing falls through cracks.
  • Performance monitoringReal-user metrics from day one. We watch the first 7 days closely so issues get caught fast.
  • 30-day refinement windowBug fixes, copy tweaks, small UX adjustments. No scope haggling.
  • Optional retainerFor ongoing work, we transition into a monthly retainer with the same team.

Ready when you are. Let's talk.
